Oatmeal Bottom Chocolate Brownies

These brownies are loaded with healthy oats and creamy chocolate. My children’s friends eat these up in one sitting!   Oat crust and crumble topping 2 ½ cup regular oats, or quick-cooking oats ¾ cup all-purpose flour ¾ cup packed brown sugar ½ teaspoon baking soda ¾ cup butter, melted Chocolate Brownie Filling 4 oz. unsweetened baking chocolate 2 / 3 cup butter 2 cups granulated sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla 4 eggs 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking power 1 teaspoon salt Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9” x 13” baking pan with cooking spray. In a large bowl mix oats, ¾ cup flour, brown sugar, and baking soda.  Stir in melted ¾ cup butter until combined. Reserve ¾ cup oat mixture for the topping and set aside. Press remaining oat mixture in baking pan.  Bake for 10 minutes and let cool for 5 minutes.
